From Indian Airforce Pilot to D2C Founder
Video transcript: Foreign. I'm a former Indian Air Force pilot. I'm part of LaunchPilot's MBA cohort and we are currently building Foliages. It's a online marketplace for plants and plant care solutions. Co building it with my wife. So currently we are in Singapore. So today we had an amazing opportunity to meet Mr. Prantik Mazumzai. He's the, he's a former entrepreneur and he is currently the Thai Singapore president. So we had kind of a five star chat with him. Great session. I mean I was in the Air force for nine years and before that I had training of four years. I had like celebrities, best of the best in the world coming to the academy or maybe meeting like best my top level pilots or top level, maybe even the Prime Minister is addressing us on various occasions or like last 15 years of my life but I never had interaction which is so I would say inspiring in many ways because it was very on point. Bare basic minimum that you need to be successful when you're building businesses. A summary to this fireside chat. I would say it is profit is your revenue minus expenses. Just keep that in mind and with respect to what you're building, you should be profitable.

From Tech Executive to AI Startup Founder
Video transcript: Foreign. I am working on a startup idea called Minder which is your AI calm assistant and we are trying to solve the problem of messaging overload. Lot of WhatsApp notification reminders, we have calendars, we have a lot of productivity tools but nothing makes our life simpler. We are trying to do that solve that problem by building a contextual personal assistant which would be voice. First faced the problem I was over drowned, over exhausted and overwhelmed by constant notifications through emails, WhatsApp and whatnot. So I thought if I am facing the problem let me solve it. I'm a part of LaunchPilot's MBA startup program and we are at the Singapore immersion having a wonderful time. We started our day with lab crawl pitch and then it was just an exciting day. Really looking forward to the next one. Probably coming back to Singapore and pitching. Not pitching but yeah being at the reverse pitch I know quite an ambitious dream but yeah.

Sameer Khatri
UI/UX Designer to EdTech Founder
Video transcript: Foreign. Hey. Hi. I'm Sameer and I'm building something I wish I had when I was growing up. I come from a place where education decides everything. But the system does not given me any personalized support. In India, especially in tier 2 and tier 3 cities, schools and tuitions don't take any responsibilities. Parents only find out something is wrong after the exam results are out and by then it's too late. That's why I am building Ganex, India's first conversational AI tutoring platform for students from grade 6 to 9. Maths and science taught in their own language and the way they understand and the way they learn. I am obsessed with fixing this because every child, not just the one in big cities, deserves a fighting chance. This was my first international trip. First time in Singapore, I pitched, I learned, I iterate and I realized something important. Gyanix isn't just a product. It's the future of how India learns. And I'm going to build it one student, one concept, one conversation at a time.

Abijith
From Lawyer to Legaltech Founder
Video transcript: Hi, my name is Abhijit. I used to be a lawyer and now I'm trying to, you know, solve a legal problem using tech, right? There's a problem that exists in India where a large amount of assets are going unclaimed. So there's a name, there's an address, but they're unable to find who this person is. So I am trying to use technology today to find this person and to give them back what is rightfully theirs. And why are you doing something of this sort? What is the reason for building? So firstly, I myself have been told by my parents that you know, that their parents investors in companies and we've lost track of that investment. I don't think anybody else should suffer this loss, right? Somebody is working hard making money, making these investments so that the future generations. We speak about generational wealth, right? What if that wealth got stuck somewhere? What if that wealth is hidden, right? I am unlocking, I'm trying to unlock that wealth for those that it's hidden for. So that is the main reason because I've gone through this, right? And so I'm trying to solve that issue. What are you doing in Singapore? So Singapore, so I'm here in Singapore as a part of a program. So I'm doing an MBA which is a very unique MBA where we are trying to build a business in 12 months. So at the end of the MBA you just don't walk away with a piece of paper that says you're a Master of Business Administration. You walk away with a revenue generating business. So you know what it takes to build something, right? And so they have brought me here to Singapore as a part of the program to meet various other founders, various startups, to go to universities here and see how startups and the entire ecosystem here works.

From U19 Footballer to AirportTech Founder
Video transcript: This is Yash. He's 20, former Indian under 19 footballer. The kind of a guy who's always been wired for discipline, pressure and big dreams. Finally, he decides that he wants to become a pilot. So he moves to Istanbul alone. No safety net, just ambition and Google Maps. While training, he spots a huge problem no one was paying attention to. Pilots and aircrews across Europe and the Middle east struggling every single day with airport commutes. Taxis are expensive, Ubers are unreliable, reliable. Everyone's constantly messaging each other for a lift to the airport. Absolute chaos. So instead of complaining, he built a solution. It's called Ergo. A carport platform designed for air crew, by air crew. A real problem. He lived. A real solution. He's building. And if you know Yash, you know one thing he loves. Talking to people, sales, pitching, building relationship. That's what he loves. And that's how he built Ergo. This is what entrepreneurship looks like. Not age, not experience, just courage. Understanding a problem deeply enough and choosing to build for it. This is what the future looks like. As for Yash, he's already flying.

From Civil Engineer to Sustainable Marketplace Founder
Video transcript: Foreign. So in my mind from my childhood days only there was a urge of doing something related to business and that too for serving our planet right so what I feel planet people people should be there then the profit will come but ultimately business will run on profit so the sustainable developments it while I was pursuing my civil engineering I saw that it's a huge market at that time in 2011 and I got passed out but the thing is there is lack of awareness and people were thinking conventional building is very important why that is not only we are serving it how we can become a sustainable things but nowadays there is scarcity of material resources you can see the sands are not available mining has been getting pretty dominant the climate change is going on so talking about my work experience I my domain is I work with lot of PMCs and then a lot of developers. As well so but I'd like to thank Lodge pilot team because the thing is they did a brainstorming.
